The Government and Politics department at St. John’s University is pleased to announce two events, cohosted with RI-SE and to coincide with the UN General Assembly. Join us for a discussion of nonviolent movements around the world, aimed to counter human rights violations and anti-democratic backlash. To discuss lessons learned from previous movements, we will hear from experts, scholars, and those directly involved in the fight against human rights violations.
